2024 Pop Culture Recap: Year in Review
When we look back on 2024, there’s almost too much to remember. From every pop star under the sun releasing music, the election, holding space for Defying Gravity, and being very demure and mindful, this year was jam-packed with pop culture moments that were quite literally Too Pop to Handle.

March 1st: Rihanna performs at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in India
March 8th: Ariana Grande releases ‘eternal sunshine’
Eternal Sunshine goes on to go number one on the Billboard 200, marking her sixth number-one on the chart, while charting all of its tracks on the Billboard Hot 100.
March 22nd: Kate Middleton shares that she has been diagnosed with cancer
March 25th: P. Diddy’s homes are raided by police
March 29th: Beyoncé releases Cowboy Carter
Cowboy Carter debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making it Beyoncé's eighth consecutive number-one album on the chart. It was also the first album by a Black woman to top the Top Country Albums chart
Later becomes the most Grammy-nominated album in history
April 5th: Chappell Roan releases ‘Good Luck, Babe!’
Becomes her first entry in the Billboard Hot 100 chart
April 11th: Sabrina Carpenter releases ‘Espresso’
Debuts at #10, making it her first top 10 hit
